About The Jaycees

The Florida Jaycees is an organization of young professionals between the ages of 18 and 40 that teaches leadership development and business skills through community service and individual development activities. We give young people the tools they need to succeed in the areas of business, management, individual training, international connections, networking, etc., while giving them the opportunity to make a real and lasting difference in their community. We are a part of the United States Junior Chamber and Junior Chamber International (JCI).

We are seeking a new young energetic generation of leaders and potential leaders to pick up the torch and make a difference in this community, in each other, and in themselves. There are other organizations that get young people involved in community service, or teach business skills, or have international influence, or serve as opportunities to make new great friends, or host great guest speakers, or provide training that develops its members’ confidence and employability, but none of them offer all of these things in one package like the Jaycees do. If you’re between the ages of 18-40 (inclusive) and want to learn more about joining the world’s premier young person’s organization, email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Our founder Henry Giessenbier said our purpose is bringing our members “together into one grand body with that great purpose of fellowship, advancement and everything which would make a good boy a better boy, a good student a more proficient scholar and a good citizen a better citizen.”
